The AMMI model application to analyze the genotype–environmental interaction of spring wheat grain yield for the breeding program purposes

Abstract Changing climatic conditions and the emphasis on cultivation of genetically stable resilient varieties as well efficiently managing water mineral resources require commencement appropriate research already at stage plant breeding. For this purpose, breeders must have necessary tools not only in form an experimental network, but also statistical that enable correct interpretation obtained results. In presented research, additive main effects multiplicative interaction (AMMI) model, supplemented with cluster analysis, was used to assess stability yielding level 26 spring wheat genotypes, six locations. The reason for yield variability studied genotypes environmental factor (89%). spite differential network locations, environments, which had a similar effect growing season 2021, were grouped. AMMI value (ASV), index (YSI) genotype selection (GSI) coefficients evaluate genotypes. Based analyses, following selected further breeding work: STH 21-03, 21-09 KOH 18279, widely adapted.
